Mitch and Toni's, the New American restaurant in Albertson, welcomes the hot weather with a fixed-price menu for summer weekends.

Cost: $32.95, without tax and tip. The three-course dinner is available on Friday and Saturday nights from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Typical choices from the market-driven menu include a “BLT salad” with bourbon-glazed, house-smoked bacon; pan-seared tilefish with zucchini caponata; fettuccine with summer vegetables, ricotta salata and pesto; roasted duck breast with summer succotash and roasted-corn flan; and cinnamon-bun cheesecake and peach cobbler with almond-crunch topping and vanilla ice cream.
