The “Welcome to Moe’s” choir just got bigger with the expansion of the Tex-Mex-style franchise in Franklin Square.
Franchisee Michael Walsh, who owns and operates 14 other Long Island Moe’s, said the new location seats about 64 diners and offers a variety of southwestern food, from burritos to quesadillas, bowls, tacos, nachos, salads and more. Sides include handcrafted guacamole and Moe's "famous queso."
Free chips and salsa are offered with every meal, and by downloading the Moe's app, customers get free nachos at sign-up and a free birthday burrito.
Moe’s, an acronym for "Musicians Outlaws and Entertainers," can be found in both Nassau and Suffolk counties in Bellmore, Centereach, Commack, East Meadow, Garden City, Greenvale, Hauppauge, Massapequa, Melville, Oceanside, Patchogue, Plainview, Riverhead, Rocky Point and Selden, the only Long Island location that Walsh does not own.
Focus Brands, a division of the Atlanta-based Roark Capital Group, owns Moe’s, as well as six other brands, including Cinnabon, Auntie Anne’s and Jamba Juice.
The fast-casual spot is open daily, Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
