On this rainy, indoor day, some sunny news: South Edison opens tomorrow in Montauk for its second season.

Chef Todd Mitgang returns with a major raw bar; cherry-cola braised Berkshire pork belly; fried belly clams; a lobster roll with black-garlic mayo; porgy a la plancha; housemade linguine with baby octopus; and spicy pulled-pork tacos, among other dishes. For dessert, expect carrot-cake cupcakes; orange-and-olive oil cake; and a housemade ice cream sandwich.

The summery restaurant is in shades of aqua-blue and yellow. The bar is copper-topped. And there will be patio dining, too.

The rain should end by Thursday.
