Joining the ever-evolving Rockville Centre restaurant scene is Prime Catch, a seafood-centric restaurant under the same ownership as Surf ‘n Turf Mediterranean Grill in Merrick.
Who’s doing the cooking? A local favorite, Axell Urrutia, who has helmed the kitchens of Cannon’s Blackthorn as well as the former Miami Grand and Copenhagen, all in RVC. Urrutia offers such dishes as Chilean salmon cakes ($10), grilled swordfish mignon with Holland pepper coulis ($25) and char-grilled whole branzini with fresh garlic mojo ($24). There are also a few non-seafood choices, such as a skirt steak ($23) and New Zealand rack of lamb ($30).
