Mitch & Toni’s, the 4-month-old American bistro, is now serving lunch Tuesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The menu leans heavily on salads and sandwiches, none of which costs more than $15. Last week I had occasion to watch chef-co-owner Mitch SuDock tweaking the lunch-only sandwiches, and I can report that the grilled salmon BLT, Philly cheesesteak wrap and smoked chicken sandwich are all first rate.
Also on offer are some appetizers and pastas from the dinner menu, as well as “more substantial” main courses such as steak frites and bourbon-glazed pork porterhouse.
