Friday, Apr. 15, at 7 p.m. will be a time to eat, drink and be merry at Snapper Inn in Oakdale, when the restaurant stages a Blue Point Brewery beer & Maker's Mark bourbon dinner.

The four course meal, at $50 a person, is as follows:

Reception: Passed hors d’oeuvres; Maker's Mark cocktail

First Course: Trio: Beer-battered fried oyster, seared scallop, spicy tuna roll; Blue Point Spring Fling

Second Course: Mixed field greens, mandarin oranges with ginger orange viniagrette, accompanied by oatmeal sesame clusters; Blue Point Oatmeal Stout

Fourth Course: Homemade peach ice cream, Maker’s Mark 46-soaked peaches brulee with chocolate cigar; Maker’s Mark 46 Bourbon
