Call it a change of wraps. In Woodbury, Wrap it up Grill, a Southwestern-style eatery, is gone, replaced by the Greek-accented All Wrapped Up, under new ownership.
The super-casual counter service spot is geared to grabbing a quick, inexpensive and, often, handheld bite. Outdoor tables have the bonus of a little manmade pond, complete with waterfall.
My pork souvlaki sandwich ($6.50 for cubes of marinated grilled pork with lettuce, tomato and onion enfolded in warm pita with tzatziki sauce on the side) would have been so much better had ripe, red farm stand tomatoes (plentiful right now) been used instead of pale flavorless cuts. Characterless shredded iceberg didn't help, either. Watery tomatoes also undermined my companion’s “zesty bacon chicken ranch” panino.
The place also serves Turkey Hill ice cream and Colombo frozen yogurt.
All Wrapped Up is at 108 Woodbury Rd., Woodbury
