Harbor Grill, the casual and homey offspring of the summery Harbor Bistro, opens today on Three Mile Harbor Road in East Hampton.
Chef Damien O'Donnell's menu includes burgers in all guises, sandwiches, chicken wings, salads, pastas and main dishes that fit into the "comfort food" category. To go with the food: root-beer and birch-beer floats, milkshakes ... you know the rest. The Grill also offers extensive take-out choices.
The new restaurant, which took over the former site of Fiddler's Cove, aims to bring back the style of "old East Hampton," with more moderate prices, too. Hours, Monday to Thursday, 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday, 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Harbor Bistro is closed for the season.
