There are eight pizzas listed under the "specialties" at Massa's in Huntington.

Go straight to No. 3.

It's the coal-fired, brick-oven pizzeria's familiar thin-crust pie capped with fresh mozzarella, scallions, pancetta, truffle oil and especially scamorza, similar to a drier, firmer mozzarella that's best smoked.  The result is a very flavorful, almost white pie that could do double duty as an appetizer in a good Italian restaurant. A medium-size No. 3 is $24; a large one, $28.

Massa's also does well with No. 6, the caramelized onion and marinara pie; and the No. 1, with tomato, mozzarella, arugula and prosciutto. The house's Margherita ("our famous pie") is covered with fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, pecorino Romano cheese and basil. It's listed just under "from the oven." No number.

Despite the address, the entrance to Massa's is at 80 Gerard St., facing the parking lot.

Massa's, 345 Main St., Huntington; 631-923-3473.
