Soon to awaken from its long winter nap: The Port Grill, situated upstairs from the Indian favorite, Diwan, in Port Washington. The place, slated to relaunch next Wednesday night, has an outdoor deck with a view of Manhasset Bay.
There aren’t many burger spots that share a kitchen with an Indian restaurant. So, along with beer-battered onion rings ($4.95), you can also get garlic naan with hummus (tandoor-baked Indian garlic bread with chickpea spread, $5.50).
More conventional specialties include sliders (hamburger, cheeseburger or pulled pork, $8.95) and all manner of burgers, including the “Juicy Lucy,” a 10-ounce patty stuffed with melted sharp Cheddar and topped with lettuce, tomato and pickles ($12.95).
