Sonoma Grill, which used to make its home in a Holbrook strip mall, has relocated to the Ramada Plaza in Holtsville. The hotel restaurant space previously hosted Bread & Butter Bistro.
Sonoma Grill, a casual and family-friendly eatery, is co-owned by Glenn Heller and Jason Maher; in charge of the kitchen is chef Edgar Mercado, who has been with the restaurant seven years. On his menu: a hummus and pita platter ($10.95), a Thai chicken salad ($13.95), pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe ($18.95), a chicken Parmigiana pizza ($14.95) and a Mediterranean shrimp wrap ($12.95). There are also burgers ($11.95) that may be topped to order at additional cost, and entrees, such as grilled chicken panzanella ($19.95) and eggplant Parmigiana ($17.95).
