Peter Gianotti gives two stars to Louie's Oyster Bar & Grille in Port Washington in today's Newsday. He praises the raw bar, shrimp cocktail, sashimi and even the dry-aged steak, writing that the restaurant now has food "to match its pretty perch on Manhasset Bay."

Hunter's Grill is a family-friendly spot for barbecue and other casual foods that reflect regional American, Asian, Latin, Middle Eastern and Russian influences, Joan Reminick writes in this week's Cheap Eats column. She gives the Glen Cove restaurant two stars, praising its smoked ribs, wings and pulled pork, and the burgers and crab cakes.
