The newly opened Rustica Brick Oven Cafe in Garden City South offers wood oven-baked pizza, pasta and more.
Co-owner Chris Maniaci also has a Queens restaurant, Porto Bello in Astoria. That's where Rustica chef Sergio Luna formerly cooked. Here, there is pizza in two sizes: an 8-inch “personal” pie and a 12-inch pizza for two; prices range from $9.50 to $13.
The menu also lists such dishes as polenta rustica, $7, insalata Toscana with white beans and prosciutto, $10, wood-oven baked lasagna, $10.25, and chicken Marsala, $14.50
