The new fall restaurant collection is in, and there's no better time to check it out than during Long Island Restaurant Week.

From Sunday to Nov. 9, you'll get a sticker-shock-free chance to dine at some of the region's latest culinary contenders -- places you may have only read about or, perhaps, didn't even know existed.

These, along with more established participants -- more than 165 in all -- will feature three-course meals at $27.95 a person. The deal runs all night, every night, except Saturday, when it may be available only until 7 p.m.

Check out nine newcomers, each offering its own reason to visit. (App users, click on the link above.) For a full list, go to longislandrestaurantweek.com.
