Singapore is the name of a Glen Cove restaurant specializing in the cuisines of Malaysia, China and Japan. It opened about a month ago.
Chef Jason Chen, who hails from Singapore, is responsible for such Malaysian dishes as braised beef noodle soup ($7.95), kari sotong, or sauteed squid with lemongrass paste in coconut curry ($12.95) and mango chicken in a taro nest ($16.50).
Also on the menu: kung pao chicken ($10.25), yellowtail jalapeño appetizer ($9) and a rainbow roll ($11.50).
