Smithtown: H2O's new eco-menu

H2O Seafood Grill in Smithtown has added a "sustainable shellfish" menu to its summertime repertoire.

Executive chef Michael Meehan's new dishes include red-curry mussels with rock shrimp, coconut milk and Thai basil; king crab-and-avocado salad with greens, candied cashews and citrus dressing; a sushi "spider roll" with soft-shell crab, avocado and eel sauce; sauteed soft-shell crabs with peach salsa, green rice and lime butter; barbecued lobster with sugar snap peas, heirloom tomatoes and smoked-tomato barbecue sauce; and seafood pasta "paella" with rock shrimp, mussels, claw crabmeat, chorizo sausage, tomatoes, garlic oil and saffron linguine.
