Smokin' Al Horowitz is going hog wild for a Giants win on Super Bowl Sunday. But instead of making money on a victory, the restaurateur-pitmaster is hoping to give away thousands of dollars worth of ribs and pulled pork, should the home team rule.

Here’s the deal. You have until Feb. 2 to place an order of $200 to $500 from the catering menu at Smokin' Al’s Famous BBQ Joint in Bay Shore or Massapequa Park. The order must be held with a credit card, which will be charged the day of the game. Pickup is before noon on game day, when Horowitz will serve coffee and bagels all morning. Later, if the Giants win the Super Bowl, Horowitz will issue a full credit card refund.

This isn't the first time Horowitz has done this. Back in 2008, when the Giants won, he gave away $20,000 worth of food at the Bay Shore eatery. “I can’t tell you how great it was for me — how many people still remember and keep coming in,” he said. Now, with two locations open, Horowitz  is hoping to give away more than $40,000 worth of food.

“It’s a feel-good thing,” Horowitz said, adding he was let down when the Jets lost last year. “I love home teams,” he said. “I’m a New York fan since I’m a kid.”

Smokin' Al's Famous BBQ Joint is at 19 W. Main St. in Bay Shore, 631-206-3000, and 4847 Merrick Rd. in Massapequa Park, 516-799-4900.
