Stop 275 Restaurant brings to Patchogue a Greek-Italian mix that owner Billy Gianacopoulos defines as “something for everyone — gyros, sandwiches, panini, burgers, salads, wraps and pizza.”
In charge of the kitchen is Gianacopoulos’ father, Simon who, according to his son, “cooked at every diner you could imagine.” The elder Gianacopoulos makes the restaurant's Greek pastries as well as cheesecake.
Although the place might seem like a diner, it opens for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday only; the rest of the week, it serves only lunch and dinner. The costliest item on the dinner menu — a “meat lovers'” platter featuring chicken and pork souvlaki as well as gyro — goes for $12.50.
Stop 275 is at 275 E. Main St., Patchogue, 631-438-0031.
