Tonight the Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook (3131 Nesconset Hwy., Centereach) will host a festival featuring the culinary stylings of more than two dozen restaurants and markets in Stony Brook, the Setaukets, St. James and surrounding environs.

The event, a Taste of the Three Villages, will benefit the Stony Brook University School of Journalism, specifically a scholarship established in memory of Lee Lutz, late editor of the Three Village Times Beacon.

Participating restaurants include The Curry Club in East Setauket, Pace’s Steak House in Port Jefferson, Pentimento in Stony Brook and Pita House in East Setauket. See the full list here.

Tickets are $50 for admission and $100 for sponsorship; they can be purchased at the door, online here or by calling Gino Veneroso at 631-471-8000, ext. 722.
