The 1770 House in East Hampton is an East End landmark, for the historic inn and the excellent kitchen. Recommended: chilled spring asparagus soup; cavatelli with asparagus, bacon, ramp and hazelnut pesto; rack of lamb with saffron risotto; Montauk fluke and roasted cod with truffle sauce. Expensive.
