Newsday's Joan Reminick praises the post-"Kitchen Nightmares" Classic American in Babylon. Giving the "spiffed-up" roadhouse two-and-a-half stars, Reminick praises its pulled-pork sliders, Cuban sliders and bacon-wrapped meat loaf.

George Martin's Strip Steak, the restaurant chain's first Suffolk outpost, gets two-and-a-half stars from Peter Gianotti in today's Newsday. Gianotti recommends the oysters Rockefeller and crabmeat cockail, among the starters, and the porterhouse, short ribs, Berkshire pork chops and crèmes brûlée to round out your meal.
