"The seating, like the food, is all about comfort," Joan Reminick writes in this week's review of Mrs. Brown's Kitchen and Grill in Kings Park. Giving the renovated spot one-and-a-half stars, she praises the Western omelet, chili and home-style chicken soup, "everyday's Thanksgiving" sandwich and a nontraditional Cubano sandwich.

Bistro 72 is "worth the detour," writes Peter Gianotti in today's Newsday. The restaurant, named for the LIE's Exit 72, excels with its beet Napoleon that includes Catapano Dairy Farm goat cheese and toasted pistachios, and with its pulled-pork sliders, among other dishes.
