"It’s a restaurant, a wine-and-martini bar, a caterer, a party in waiting," Peter Gianotti writes of Amicale in Huntington Station. He gives the restaurant three stars in Friday's Newsday, praising a menu special of plump, sauteed frog legs in a tangy mustard sauce, above, among other dishes.

Newsday's Joan Reminick reviews Curry Club in Hicksville, an offshoot of the Setauket location. Giving the restaurant two and a half stars, Reminick recommends a kebab appetizer assortment, kadai curry, lamb vindaloo and more.
