In this week’s Newsday, Peter Gianotti visits Market Bistro in Jericho, the “relaxed, friendly … offspring of West End Cafe in Carle Place.”

Joan Reminick enjoys the exotic flavors Ravagh Persian Grill in Huntington (sister to Ravagh in Roslyn Heights), where’s she’s particularly taken with the jujeh kebab, bone-in Cornish hen marinated in lemon and saffron and grilled. She’s rounded up a few more restaurants where you can get the hen.
