On June 10, you’ve got your pick of two barbecue competitions.
In Westbury, Temple Beth Torah is hosting the first Long Island Kosher BBQ Championship. The event is modeled after and sanctioned by the ASBEE World Kosher BBQ Championship in Memphis, Tenn. Teams compete in three culinary categories -- brisket, beef ribs and beans -- as well as for best booth and best team name.
