Blackwells Restaurant in Wading River hosts a four-course "giving thanks for beer" dinner on Nov. 9.
Cost: $65, including tax and tip. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. Reservations required.
Executive chef Chris Gerdes' menu includes butternut squash-and-apple soup, matched with Widmer Drifter Pale Ale; sweet potato flan and haricots verts, with Blue Point White IPA; turkey potpie with cranberry sauce and stuffing, with Goose Island Harvest Ale; and pumpkin creme brulee, with Tommyknocker 'Small Patch' Pumpkin Ale.
Two tickets to the International Great Beer Expo slated for Nov. 12 at the Nassau Coliseum will be raffled at the dinner.
