Rugosa make its entry into "Eat Drink Local Week" with a $52 three-course menu, available from tomorrow to June 30.
The annual eat-local week is aimed at raising awareness about regional products. It's sponsored by Edible New York.
Chef Bill Mammes' offerings will include a poached oyster napoleon with rhubarb and ginger; coconut-curry lamb with green garlic, cucumber and yogurt; and green-pea blini with strawberry compote and strawberry sorbet. For an additional charge, you can choose items from the eatery's regular menu.
Wines from Channing Daughters in Bridgehampton and Wolffer Estate in Sagaponack; and beer from Greenport Harbor Brewing and Fire Island Brewing also will be featured.
