Avanti Culinary Market has opened in the former Citarella space in Water Mill, with Matthew Guiffrida of nearby Muse as executive chef.
The full-service market is geared to both professional and home chefs, as well as party hosts and the general public. Prime meats, cut and wrapped to order, highlight the offerings, which include artisanal cheeses, organic produce, fresh seafood, deli items and prepared food that adds fare for vegetarian, gluten-free and other diets.
The owners are Mike and Sandy DeGennaro, who own Southampton Wines at Water Mills Shops and Long Wharf Wines in Sag Harbor.
