Weekend picks: Tasty dining in Patchogue

Bobbique stands out with barbecue and brews. You'll dive into the pulled pork and pulled chicken, chopped beef brisket, St. Louis-style ribs, fries with chili and cheese sauce, macaroni and cheese, and pretty much anything that will get you messy. For dessert, try the banana pudding or the apple-caramel pie.

PeraBell Food Bar offers a flavorful, eclectic menu. Sample the crisp Napoleon of eggplant, juicy sliders, the pesto-seasoned chicken panino, a double-cut pork chop paired with a sweet-potato tart, Thai-glazed short ribs, wasabi grilled tuna with a soba-noodle fry, onion soup, chicken wings four ways.

Lombardi's on the Bay combines steakhouse and Italian restaurant for a husky combo plate.
