West East Bistro in Hicksville has lately undergone a few changes. The place is now called West East All Natural Bar & Bistro and has a new executive chef — Jay Jadeja, who co-owns the place with Danny Wu. Jadeja is also chef at the Cedar Beach Bar & Grill in Mount Sinai and, in the past, owned the former Wildflower in Manhattan.

The interior of West East has been redone in a warmer color palette. The fish tank is out; a  marble-topped bar is in. The menu, too, has been revised.  Jadeja said he now serves hormone-and antibiotic-free meats from Painted Hills Farm in Oregon, as well as sustainably farmed fish and seafood. Jadeja added that his wife, Raquel Wolff-Jadeja, is a holistic health coach and inspired him to “serve the food that we would feed our child.“

On the new menu: An appetizer of slow roasted BBQ wild boar spareribs ($11), New Orleans style gumbo ($9), Kerala style rainbow trout with coconut curry ($20) and herbed grilled venison chops ($27). The restaurant also offers a $20 three-course prix-fixe dinner Sunday to Thursday nights; certain dishes carry an extra charge.

This Thursday at 7 p.m., the restaurant will stage a five-course wild game and wine tasting dinner at $57 a person. Super Bowl Sunday will be the scene of a fusion buffet with lobster mac & cheese, pad Thai with chicken and shrimp, wild boar chili, pork and shrimp pot stickers and an Asian salad. Included in the $28 a person cost is unlimited house wine, beer and liquor.

West East All Natural Bistro & Bar is at 758 S. Broadway, Hicksville
