Where does Canton meet County Cork? In a new pub classic: the Irish egg roll. It's corned beef and cabbage (and maybe mashed potatoes) wrapped in dough and deep-fried to create a bar bite more heartwarming than heart-healthy. Find it at any of these four eateries:

Cannon's Blackthorn, 49 North Village Ave., Rockville Centre, 516-594-1222,

An elegant version, cut on the bias and surrounded by swirls of Colman's mustard; $9.

Finn McCool's, 101 Riverhead Rd., Westhampton Beach, 631-998-3271

Crisp and light, it's filled with thick slabs of corned beef mixed with potatoes and cabbage; $7.50.

Landmark Diner, 1023 Northern Blvd., Roslyn, 516-627-4830

At this new double-decker diner on Northern Boulevard in Roslyn, chef Chris Palmer stuffs an oversized egg roll with chopped corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese; Russian dressing accompanies; $8

Lily Flanagan's, 345 Deer Park Ave., Babylon, 631-539-0816,

A thick crust holds a creamy mash of potatoes, corned beef and cabbage; $7.99.
