Construction is going full tilt in the Woodbury Common shopping center as Graffiti An American Grill prepares to move from its present quarters to the larger space next door once occupied by Baang.
There's more. Graffiti Owner Nick Hannides says that come August, when the expanded Graffiti is set to debut in its bigger home, its old digs will be renovated as an Asian bistro called “Asian Bistro Next Door.” Hannides said it will offer a “handful” of Chinese entrees as well as sandwiches, salads and wraps. But no sushi. The area, he said, is already sushi-saturated enough.
Both restaurants will maintain moderate prices and feature as much as possible that’s sustainably grown or raised, hormone and steroid-free. The new Graffiti will have a full lounge; both places will offer outdoor seating.
Graffiti An American Grill has two locations, at 8285 Jericho Tpke, Woodbury, 516-367-1340 and 1326 Peninsula Blvd., Hewlett, 516-791-2959, graffitirestaurant.com.
