Android lost? Google can find it

Google's search engine can find almost anything, although it won't help you find the eyeglasses or keys you've misplaced in your home. But it can find your Android device.

Google has added a feature to its search bar that locates a phone -- whether you left it in a restaurant or it's on your couch under a cushion. It can also track it if it was stolen.

Type "Find My Phone" in the Google search box and log in using the same Google account on your Android device. The search result will locate your phone on a map anywhere in the world and is accurate to about 60 feet. If it's "lost" in your home, you can have Google ring your phone at full volume, even if it is on silent mode. While it will not ring if it is completely powered down, it will still display on a map.
