Cant' come over? Great ... I mean, too bad

Last year, my husband, Joe, and I really didn't know where we were spending Thanksgiving. Two daughters were going to be with in-laws, and one daughter was working. And that is fine with Joe and me, but when you tell those who ask that it will be just the two of you this year, you get that look (oh, isn't that sad; they have nowhere to go).

I saw an ad for a Thanksgiving getaway, and it sounded great! Two days at the beach, swimming, spa, dinner and away we went!

The bottom line: We're hoping they have it again this year because to get to spend the day with the person you started out with all those years ago (and enjoy each other's company) is something to be thankful for!
