Google expands its popular health feature

Google is the go-to place for many looking for answers about medical problems or symptoms. Recognizing this, the search giant has expanded its popular health conditions feature to offer more in-depth results to queries about ailments and diseases.

The results, which show a graphic with information about symptoms, treatments and prevalence, are displayed immediately after you enter your search so you don't have to rummage through a bunch of entries, links and paid listings first. Most results have a link to download a PDF that can be printed and brought with you to your doctor.

Google says its health feature offers information on more than 900 diseases, and it expects to add more soon. The expanded health conditions search results are available on Google's website or in its free iOS and Android apps.
