PBS show 'WealthTrack' airs Medicare episode

The PBS show "Consuelo Mack WealthTrack" has delivered timely financial advice each week for 10 years. While most episodes deal with monetary issues that concern all age groups, Mack often presents shows with subjects specifically aimed at older adults.

A recent "WealthTrack" episode of interest to anyone who's older and thinking about health coverage was "Maximizing Medicare," featuring Katy Votava, author of "Making the Most of Medicare." As Mack explains at the open of the episode, "It is estimated that 90 to 95 percent of Americans pay too much for Medicare coverage," primarily because they don't choose the best Medicare Part D plan. That show, originally telecast on April 24, can be accessed directly at nwsdy.li/wealthtrack.
