Here's a chance to spend an afternoon with your beloved pup at the third annual Fido Fall Harvest Festival in Sayville, featuring vendors of animal products, craft stations and games for children, a photographer who will take family pictures and adoptable pets.

There'll also be a costume parade for dogs, with prizes for the most creative, funniest and cutest.

The festival is sponsored by Hicksville-based Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), and proceeds go to PAWS' Seniors With Animals Project, which helps care for pets if their owners become sick.

The outdoor festival is Saturday, Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bristal Assisted Living in Sayville. (Rain date is Oct. 19.) Cost for adults, $25, includes admission for one child up to age 16; each additional child, $10.

The tickets are tax deductible. For more information, go to paws-li.org.
