SeniorNet, the not-for-profit organization focused on helping older Long Islanders learn about computers and technology, has released the fall semester course list (nwsdy.li/seniornetfall) for its Huntington Learning Center.
Classes cover a wide range of subjects and electronic devices. Most are one-class lessons for $15, but there are several multiple-class courses that offer in-depth instruction on popular programs such as Microsoft Word ($45).
For beginners, there are four-class introductory courses covering the basics of computing ($40). In addition to the course fees, an annual tax-deductible SeniorNet membership of $44 is required for multiclass courses. Other courses are dedicated to iPads, iPhones and Android devices.
SeniorNet is at the Family Service League, 790 Park Ave. in Huntington. There's a free open house on Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 631-470-6757.
