If you have school-age kids or grandkids, you are always looking for teachable moments. There's a good one finishing its limited-engagement run at Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor.

"The Diary of Anne Frank," a stage play based on the book, is tailored for kids 13 and older. The play is part of Bay Street's Literature Live! educational series, which takes books in the core curriculum of Long Island schools and adapts them for the stage.

The play started its run earlier this month, and most of its performances were open only to schools. There are two last performances the public can attend: Saturday night at 7 and Tuesday at 10 a.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for students.
