Can't be with your loved ones for the holidays? You can always call.

Or you can Skype.

Skype is a free program that allows computer users with a webcam to make free video calls to other Skype members. Chances are your kids and grandkids have an account: There are more than 660 million Skype accounts worldwide. Skype is available in versions for Windows, Apple computers and Android smartphones.

To get an introduction on how to use Skype, the West Babylon Public Library is holding a free seminar Monday. The seminar will also cover instant-messaging programs such as Google Chat and Yahoo Messenger.
