Little Scholar tablet review for Kidsday

I tested the Little Scholar 8-inch Educational Kids Tablet (School Zone Publishing, $199-$299), and I think it makes learning a fun adventure for kids between the ages of 4 and 6.

The Little Scholar includes a Little Scholar tablet, a power adapter and an instruction booklet. It also includes more than 100 apps, videos, books and songs. It covers three grade levels and, best of all, it is not dependent on an Internet connection. It has parental-control options and usage reports.

Little Scholar also has a front- and rear-facing camera, plus a gallery for photos and six silly special effects. Kids can practice math, reading, spelling and even readiness skills with interactive games. There are more than 10 game apps for each grade. You don't have to download the apps or even buy them.

My opinion is that this toy would be really fun for kids who like to learn. When my younger cousin used it, she wouldn't let go of it. She said it's the best toy she ever used. I think it would be great for younger kids -- even I loved it.

It's a great way for kids to learn and have fun while they're doing it.
