A window of a vehicle at O'Brien's Ale House on Route 112 was smashed Dec. 9. A wallet was reported stolen.

Gordon Heights

Copper piping was missing Dec. 9 from a vacant house on Gray Avenue.

Lake Grove

A radio and GPS unit were stolen from a GMC Yukon on Wisteria Lane Dec. 7.

Two men stole 78 sweaters from the Banana Republic at Smith Haven Mall

on Dec. 8.


A jacket vest was stolen from the Laundry King on Montauk Highway Dec. 10. The jacket had keys in the pocket.

Mastic Beach

Electrical cord to Christmas ornaments on Church Drive were cut Dec. 10.


Copper piping and a well pump were stolen Dec. 9 at a house on Barnes Road.


Christmas decorations and balloons were taken from a 3rd Street home Dec. 10.


A man stole 67 lottery tickets from Sue's Card Smart on Independence Plaza Dec. 10.



A Montauk man, 30, was arrested Dec. 11 after his vehicle was stopped on Montauk Highway for a defective headlight and police found he had marijuana.


A female dog, possibly a German shepherd mix, was found near Capitol One on Main Road Dec. 9 and transported to a local animal shelter.

The rear window of a vehicle on Front Street was damaged by a rock Dec. 8.


A group of youths were reported causing disturbances in the parking lots of Toys R Us and a dentist's office on Old Country Road Dec. 10.

A cell phone and $30 were stolen from two unlocked lockers at Planet Fitness on Kroemer Avenue Dec. 10.

Sag Harbor

A Sag Harbor man, 25, was arrested Dec. 12 and accused of driving while intoxicated after he allegedly drove his vehicle off the road, colliding with several mail boxes on Noyac Road.


Items including craft kits and a handicapped parking placard were discovered missing from a 2003 Honda on New Mill Road Dec. 6.


A unknown person left a gas station on Jericho Turnpike Dec. 7 after dispensing $51 worth of gas and paying only $31.

Wading River

An iPod and Oxycodone pills were stolen from a Remsen Road residence Dec. 10.
