Calverton
A man was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center Feb. 5 due to injuries sustained from being struck by a forklift at Mac-Lad Corp. on Middle Country Road. Further details were not disclosed.
An unknown man was observed stealing logs from a wooded vacant lot
on Fresh Pond Avenue on Feb. 5.
Center Moriches
An unknown person entered a Seaview Lane residence Jan. 31. Jewelry was reported stolen from the house.
East Patchogue
All four tires on a 2007 Hyundai were punctured, and the side of the car scratched Jan. 31 while it was parked in an East Woodside Avenue driveway.
A gift card vending machine located on Montauk Highway was broken into Feb. 2. Gift cards were reported stolen from the machine.
Lake Grove
A driver-side window of a 2008 Cadillac Escalade on Williams Boulevard was broken, and a purse and sunglasses stolen from the vehicle Jan. 31.
Manorville
Two driver-side windows were discovered broken on a 1991 Ford parked on Eileen Avenue on Jan. 31.
Medford
The front door of a Horseblock Road house was pried open in an attempted burglary Jan. 31.
Selden
A Medford man, 19, was arrested Feb. 4 and charged with first degree robbery in connection with an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store on Route 25. The suspect is charged with displaying a handgun and demanding the clerk hand over money and lottery tickets. When he saw a police officer pull into the parking lot, he fled the store on foot and was tracked down by a canine officer and his dog. The man was also charged with robbery, first degree for a Feb. 3 incident in which cash was stolen from a cards store on Route 112 in Medford.
Shirley
A 22-year-old Patchogue man and a 19-year-old Setauket woman were arrested Feb. 1 and charged with burglary, second degree. They are charged with entering a residence on Rowlinson Drive and taking property from the house.
Yaphank
A utility vehicle and two moto-cross bikes were discovered stolen Feb. 2 from a storage garage at LI Motocross on Horseblock Road.
Wading River
A small bag of cocaine was found in a bathroom at Wading River Elementary School on Wading River Manor Road.
