Former Southampton Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst has landed in a new job after failing to oust freshman Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin from his First District seat in November.
Throne-Holst will become president of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce-New York in Manhattan.
The chamber, in existence for 111 years, promotes advancement and protection of commercial relations between Sweden and the United States. It holds three major conferences a year on women’s business, innovation and sustainability issues.
Throne-Holst will take her post April 4. She replaces Renée Lundholm, who has been with the chamber for 33 years and served as president since 2000. Throne-Holst declined to comment on her new position.
