Two LI robbery suspects arrested in Brooklyn
A woman who police said set up a 21-year-old man to be robbed in his Lido Beach home has been arrested, along with one of the robbers.
Nassau police said that at about 1:30 a.m. on May 14, the man invited Rebekah Silverman, 23, over to his Buxton Street home to "hang out." Silverman left and about 15 minutes after she returned, two men entered the bedroom. The first man flashed a gun and took two gold-colored necklaces, a men's Rolex watch, an iPhone, a laptop computer, and a wallet with an unknown amount of cash from the victim, police said. The two robbers tied up the victim and fled, police said.
On Thursday, police arrested Silverman, of 27 Arion Pl. in Brooklyn, and Tywain Sinclair, 22, of 579 Grand Ave. in Brooklyn.
The pair, both charged with first-degree burglary and other counts, were arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
