A Wyandanch man with 26 suspensions of his driver’s license fled the scene after he crashed into another car in Kings Park, leaving three people injured, Suffolk County police said.

Rigoberto Campos, 30, of Davidson Street, was driving south on Indian Head Road about 6:15 p.m. Sunday when his 2010 Nissan Altima collided with a 2006 Lexus, police said.

Campos drove about one-quarter mile before stopping his car and fleeing on foot, police said.

He was arrested in a wooded area at 6:45 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and leaving the scene of an accident involving an injury, police said.

Campos, a male passenger in his car, and a male passenger in the Lexus were hospitalized for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

The driver of the Lexus, Audrey Montante, 77, of Kings Park, was not injured, police said.

Campos was awaiting arraignment Monday in First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
