7-Eleven worker robbed outside Uniondale store, Nassau cops say

An employee of a 7-Eleven in Uniondale was robbed Monday afternoon while standing in front of the store, Nassau County police said.

A man grabbed the female worker around the neck, reached into her pants and took an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The robbery occurred at 2:30 p.m. outside the store at 1275 Front St., police said.

The robber had dark hair, was about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and was wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark pants, police said.

Detectives asked that anyone with information on the robbery call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477.
