A Center Moriches man was arrested on a drunken-driving charge Tuesday after his truck hit two cars in Center Moriches, Suffolk County police said.
James Naples, 40, of Center Moriches was charged after a crash that took place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said Naples was driving his Ford F-250 truck east on Frowein Road when he crashed into both a disabled car parked on the side of the road and another car that was assisting the unresponsive vehicle.
Immediately after the crash, Naples’ truck continued until it came to a stop on a grassy area in front of 108 Frowein Rd., according to police.
No injuries were reported at the scene. Police did not disclose how many people were in the two cars Naples’ truck collided with or the make and models of the cars.
Naples was held overnight at the Seventh Precinct in Shirley and will be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Central Islip.
