Police have released a surveillance image of a man who detectives said is wanted for having “forcibly touched” two female moviegoers at a theater in Holtsville in June.

The incident occurred at the Island 16 Cinema De Lux on Morris Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. June 21, Suffolk County police said.

Police said the victims, 17 and 21, were “inappropriately touched” by the suspect during a movie.

Police said the man being sought was at the theater with another male, who detectives said was not involved in the incident. The suspect in the surveillance footage was wearing an orange collared shirt and black pants.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.

All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
