A woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after she hit another moving vehicle, injuring two, then drove onto a lawn and nearly hit a house Tuesday in Mastic Beach, police said.

The accident occurred on Washington Avenue at 8:44 p.m., Suffolk County police said.

Police said Silver Brame, 24, of Mastic Beach, was charged with DWI after hitting another vehicle with her 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, then driving onto the property — where she narrowly missed a parked vehicle and the house.

Police initially said Brame had hit the parked car, not an occupied moving vehicle, and that no one had been injured.

The condition of the two people injured was not known.

Police said Brame faces arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Central Islip.
